SAFmodule brings strong authentication to Novell NMAS preventing the sharing and/or misuse of user login IDs through biometric authentication. SAFmodule users log in to their accounts using their own unique physical feature - an identifier that cannot be duplicated. SAFmodule supports a large variety of biometric methods, such as finger, face, voice and iris authtication devices.

User Authority Delegation, which allows users to authorize additional delegate users to their accounts. Delegate identities are recorded at each logon event for any necessary review.
Self-enrollment, which allows users to establish their own biometric account from their workstation without administrative assistance.
Fast Enroll, which allows rapid enrollment of multiple users in rapid succession.
Disconnected Login, which lets users log on to their workstation in the absence of a network connection, while maintaining the security of their account.
